This fascinating video clip demonstrates how rapidly our world is changing. Should this make you, as a Christian believer, anxious? Should you get upset over all the challenges in a changing world?
Not at all!
Jesus Christ foretold that events would begin to happen more and more rapidly and with greater intensity. The "end times events" would be "the beginning of birth pains." (Mark 13:8).
But this should not alarm you. Because...
God never changes. Although the world is changing rapidly all around you, God never changes (Malachi 3:6). God split the Red Sea and "turned the world upside down" through the first century believers. And He is still able, willing and committed to blessing you and providing for your every need (Philippians 4:19).
"I the Lord do not change" (Malachi 3:6). What a comfort to realize that God almighty does not change. Neither do his laws of gravity, inertia or sowing and reaping. Some things are immutable, unchanging. Like the power of our God. God's people need to focus on changing the world...for the better! The Bible says we are to "overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21). What a challenge from the unchanging God!
God's promises never change. God says "I will not break my covenant, Nor alter what my lips have uttered" Psalm 89:34). God still means what he says. And He says he will bless you.
God is spirit. He is not flesh and blood like us. And you cannot perceive him with your five senses. That's why you must trust Him. Believe what he says in his Word.
You and I cannot see electricity. We can see the effects of electrical current, but we cannot see the power itself. So we simply "flip the switch" and the power flows...into our lights, radios and other appliances.
In the same way you "flip the switch" with your faith and see God's power flow. He answers your prayers and performs those signs, miracles and wonders we all desire and appreciate.
And there is yet another reason not to fear your changing world...
Jesus Christ never changes. The Bible says "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The same Christ who healed the sick and raised the dead is working to do the same through his believers today (Mark 16:17-18).
Yes, Jesus Christ foretold the rapid events of our end times. He foresaw the famines, earthquakes and wars that are becoming more commonplace as the prophetic clock ticks away.

Instead of dreading all the changes in society, you should be concentrating on changing the world! Rise up with the power of God in you and make your mark in the world!
The world is changing rapidly, no doubt about it. But what a joy it is for those of us who follow Christ. Because he, God's promises and God himself never change.
Jesus says, "Don't let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me (John 14:1).
Put your trust and confidence in the unchanging God!
