The Healing Scriptures Are For You
Today!
God’s Word is crystal clear...
God wants you well.
But the healing scriptures have not been taught in most mainline churches.
Satan steals the Word out of believers’ hearts (Matthew 13:19). Christian believers who have heard about the healing scriptures often forget about them.
Satan does not want you to know about God’s healing power.
There is a cosmic battle between good and evil and the adversary does not want God’s superheroes walking in divine health or ministering healing to the oppressed.
You must put on the armor of God and walk in power or you will be deceived on this issue of divine healing.
The Bible is crystal clear about God’s will...
“I will heal my people and will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth” (Jeremiah 33:6)
God says he will heal his people! Does that include you?
God also says…
“I am the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26).
Here God claims to be your healer! How’s that for positive motivation! Divine healing is yours.

Why You Have Healing Scriptures
God is a healer!
The Creator of the heavens and earth always seeks to heal and restore anything that is out of line with his will. In fact, one of the healing accounts in the life of Jesus Christ says he is leading justice to victory! (Matthew 12:15-22). God wants his people to have justice and he offers them his healing power…
That is why he told the Israelites…
“I will take sickness away from your midst…”
(Exodus 23:25)
“The Lord will take away from you all sickness; and none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you know, will he put on you…” (Deuteronomy 7:15)
God is a healer!
When God sent Jesus into the earth, Jesus said “I revealed your name to the people you have given me…”
(John 17:6)
How did Jesus reveal God’s name? Listen…
“Jesus of Nazareth…God anointed him with the holy spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him” (Acts 10:38).
Jesus went around healing all who would believe! Because God is a healer!
And God wants to heal you.
That is why there are healing scriptures.
Jesus says the Scriptures come “out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4), and God repeatedly says, “I want you well!”
Well, is the Bible true, or not? It is!
The Psalmist knew this…
“Praise the Lord, O my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; He forgives all your sins; he heals all your diseases” (Psalm 103:2-3). He realized that...
God loves you and He wants to heal you! But...

Why You Need the Healing Scriptures
Man sinned in the garden of Eden and has been plagued with sicknesses and disease ever since. In fact...
One of the oldest books of the Bible, Job, reveals the origin of sickness…
“Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord and struck Job with painful sores from the sole of his foot to his head” (Job 2:7).
Who made Job sick?
“Satan” did. Satan, not God, caused Job’s terrible sickness.
You say, “But didn’t God use Satan to teach Job something?”
No.
Now get this…and don't ever forget it...
Nowhere does the Bible say God uses Satan to teach you anything.
Instead, the Scriptures say God teaches you by the Spirit and the Scriptures (Luke 12:12; 2 Timothy 3:16-17, etc.)
And the Scriptures say that Satan is your enemy. You see…
The devil never does God’s will. That's right. The Bible says...
“The devil has been sinning from the beginning” (1 John 3:8).
God is not “using” Satan to accomplish his will. Satan is sinning all the time. The devil is a rebel.
There is no “Good cop, bad cop” arrangement going on here. Whenever Satan does something he is sinning against God.
That is why Jesus said a sick woman should be delivered. Listen in to Jesus’ own words: “Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?" (Luke 13:16)
Jesus says the poor, suffering woman should be freed…from Satan's bondage!
Satan crippled the poor woman, but Jesus does God's will and frees her from her disease!
Pretty clear, isn’t it?
Then why don’t the churches teach that Satan causes diseases and that God wants you well?
Because they don’t know it.
Most Churches Do Not Teach Healing
Most churches do not know or teach the healing scriptures. If they did, you wouldn’t be searching the internet and reading this page! You and others would already be well and there would be no need for you to search for these healing promises outside a church setting.
You would already know all about divine healing.
The religious leaders of Jesus’ day were not teaching the healing scriptures, either…
In fact, Jesus accused them of being of their father, the devil (John 8:44). Any so-called “religion” that steals God’s healing promises, or any scriptures away from God’s people is devilish (Luke 8:12).
Remember, the Bible says Jesus went around “doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil” (Acts 10:38).
The devil oppresses people with sickness, but Jesus heals them all…
Jesus Healed Everyone Who Believed
“They brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them” (Matthew 4:24)…
“They brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick” (Matthew 8:16)…
“Great multitudes followed him; and he healed them all” (Matthew 12:15)…
“A great number of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; as well as those who were troubled by unclean spirits, and they were being healed. All the multitude sought to touch him, for power came out from him and healed them all” (Luke 6:17-19).
We see Jesus repeatedly healing all of the people. This is God’s will! For You!
Don’t let anybody tell you God has changed…because He says...
“I the Lord don't change” (Malachi 3:6)…
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).
If it was God’s will to heal his people in the past, it’s still his will today. In fact, in the future when Man blasts off on a mission to Mars or the outer planets it will still be God's will to heal. God is eternal, unchanging!
God hasn’t changed, Christ hasn’t changed and God’s Word still says what it has always said!
Anybody who teaches otherwise is guilty of twisting Scripture to conform to his man-made denominational doctrines (Acts 20:30).
So let’s see what God’s Word says to us, today.
Let’s take a look at …
God’s Promise to Heal You!
Listen to what the New Testament tells us…
“Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up” (James 5:14-15).
Notice it says the Lord “will heal him” and the Lord “will raise him up.”
Pretty clear, isn’t it.
All those who teach otherwise either can’t read or won’t believe.
The Bible says “to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all” and says this includes “gifts of healings” (1 Corinthians 12:7, 9).
Again, all this is crystal clear. God has given you the manifestation of the spirit to bless you and this includes healing. Anyone telling you differently is a Scripture-twister.
Divine healing is a living reality for those who read the Word and believe what God says.
And the rest, who say “miracles have passed away” in the church, are really saying “God has changed.” They are saying God used to heal but he no longer does.
But God says He is a Healer, He does not change and he has given you healing…and the prayer of faith will make you well and he will raise you up.
The Bible says “whatever things were written before were written for our learning…” (Romans 15:4).
So, let’s learn…
How To Apply The Healing Scriptures
Get into God’s Word and learn something!
Watch Jesus ministering healing to the crowds and learn God’s will for your life! God wants you well!
Read the Old Testament accounts of healings and learn how God blessed Israel with miracles of healings. And realize He will do the same for you today! God has not changed, he is still the Healer and he wants you well! He even has a plan for Christian health and fitness!
Grab your Bible Concordance and look up every reference to healing in the Scriptures, and thank God for those truths becoming real in your life. God did it for them, he will do it for you!
God does not show any favoritism! (Acts 10:34; Romans 2:11)
Study God’s Word for yourself, and claim it’s promises of healing! (2 Timothy 2:15).
Meditate on the Word. God told Joshua to meditate on his Word day and night. Joshua did, and he conquered his enemies.
You can conquer sickness and disease when you get God’s Word into your heart. Then divine healing will manifest in your body.
Speak God’s Word boldly. Jesus taught all his followers to “have the faith of God” and speak to the obstacles. He says you will have whatever you say (Mark 11:23-24).
